Sometimes it pays to be lazy and turn projects in late...want to know why? Because, The Capitals JUST broke a franchise record, currently holding a 7-0-0 starting lead to the 2011/2012 NHL season. I really hope the NHL decides to check this one out! Anyhow, this was drawn for Ben Sumner who writes for Capitalsoutsider.com - he's done a magnificent job in promoting nearly every portrait I've done, especially my Washington Capitals portraits.
